The history of Panorama Flea Market

The Panorama Flea Market started almost 25 years ago from humble beginnings in the parking lot of the old Ster Kinekor Drive-in. The market then operated on Sundays with about 80 stall holders who set up their tables and gazebos to trade. All food was sold by the Drive in, at their cafeteria. The market eventually grew to about 200 stall holders on Sundays and then was expanded to Saturdays as well.

Ster Kinekor eventually sold the operators the Drive-in and the market was properly established. In time to come we grew to more than 380 stalls, 15 of which are food stalls and all permanent traders now have lock up stalls.

The market has grown over the years and has become a meeting place for the community to meet on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays to enjoy the live entertainment the market has to offer every weekend. We also have a play centre which caters for the children and a licensed beer garden with a big screen TV. Our trading hours each day of operation are from 9am to 4pm.
